Small World Guild Presents "Quartermania"

What is Quartermania?  A Quartermania is a cross between an auction and a raffle where people 'bid' to win an item donated from guild members, local businesses and various home businesses participating in the event.  Bids on these new items range from 1 to 4 quarters.  There are usually between 40 and 60 items to auction during a Quartermania.  Admission includes your numbered auction paddle.  Rules are fully explained before the fun begins!

Bring a roll of quarters or buy some at the event.

Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase.

A light lunch will be served.

The Cherese Mari Laulhere Child Life Department strives to normalize the hospital environment for patients and families by making things like medical equipment and procedures feel less strange or foreign.  Patients and their family members can feel more at ease while at the hospital and be able to focus on what is most important: feeling better.  Their services include pre-surgery preparation and support, therapeutic medical play, new diagnosis education, grief and bereavement support, sibling support, special entertainment, and specialized therapeutic programs including the play room, bedside activities, pet therapy, music therapy and art therapy.
